10 months!

This is a very busy time of year for me. Besides the craziness of my everyday life, we are preparing to go back to school. As you can imagine, it is very difficult to get my classroom ready! The girls go wild pulling things off the bookshelves . That was the only day they have experienced getting out of the stroller! Since then, I have been trying to go by myself after baths are over and bed is around the corner!!

The kids have been back to Cathy's twice in the last week so I could attend a class and a meeting. She can't believe how they've changed over the summer. They are turning into real wild little people!

Addy has stopped falling on her head : ) Molly is pulling herself up but she never did the falling on her head. She was way more cautious about it (like her brother). I tell people I am afraid that Addy is going to be our first trip to the ER. She currently has 3 quite visible bruises on her head/face. I wonder what people think when they see her!

I am loving the changes. They are eating more table food, working the sippy cups, trying to talk, and always looking for mommy : 0
ADDY

MOLLYI can't believe it is time again for school. I'm never ready to back, but I guess I'll just jump in with both feet!!

9 Months!

Every month I think back to how far we've come. The girls are doing so much more than they were last month!! I feel as if we've regressed a bit though. I spend most of my day following them around making sure they don't get into something they shouldn't. They are pulling themselves up on everything (especially Addy) and there have been may times where they just fall back on their heads. So when I'm not following them, I'm sitting behind them ready to catch whoever falls. I so don't remember this with Connor. It is frustrating...going to the bathroom is a challenge. Any suggestions?!?

So I ran into this woman tonight at CVS (I had all 3 kids with me), here is our conversation:
stranger: twins?!
me: yep
stranger: I have twins too, they are 3.
me: Oh good, I'll get there some day.
stranger: yeah, it doesn't get any easier. There is always something.
me: I look forward to them being his age (patting compliant Connor on the head), I love this age.
stranger: they have a big brother too.
me: he is a great help, I wouldn't trade him for anything.
I thought it was an odd conversation. I think in most respects it is easier already.
Ok enough griping, here are the cuties! We go to the dr. next week, so no stats yet.

Addy

There she goes!

Addy doesn't sit still. She is a monkey and tries to climb on anyone/anything. She is going to be my dare devil. She makes changing her diapers, bath, and getting her dressed miserable. She is constantly trying to crawl away, she is now crawling correctly! No teeth yet, but they have got to be close.

Molly

Molly has developed this little thing where she randomly throws up. We've been to the dr., they aren't worried. I am always on guard waiting for it! Needless to say, we hate to leave the house for meals! She has two teeth and has mastered clapping and waving. It is so cute! She loves to sing!

Sorry for the blabbering tonight. I know they are beautiful and sweet and so much more. I know how lucky I truly am!

Worker Guy

We have a very busy 'worker guy' (as he calls himself) at our house. He is always willing to help get jobs done : ) I can only imagine what his future holds!

This isn't even our car...it's Ken company car. He is a busy boy!

8 Months!

I can't believe how big my girls are getting!! I get excited everyday at how far we have come. Most nights, everyone in my house sleeps through the night! About 7 months ago I wondered if I would ever sleep more than a few hours at a time!! Here they are!
Addy

Addy is my mover these days...she is crawling!!! She does the army crawl and rocks on all fours. She gets to just about anything she shouldn't have! She also says a strange form of 'hi', dadadada, and just yesterday babababa. She is the best sleeper in the house! She has learned to pull her bows out of her hair, so it is usually crazy!!

Molly

Molly scoots on her belly, she wants to get places and gets so mad when she can't get there fast enough! She is sitting up on her own! She is much happier when she can sit and play...I'm sure they are tired of ceilings!! She says dadada and is trying to clap. She wants table food in the worst way, but her mom is a chicken about that! We are slowly giving her a few things!

Both girls have an unbelievable bond with their big brother. I am so glad that he returns the love for them, he is excellent with them! I can't get enough of them!!

Breakthrough

We had a small breakthrough at our house last week.
Addy can hold her own bottle!!? I don't know if this is early or late on the milestone chart, I just know that it is a huge help at our house!! I can only imagine the amount of time I have spent feeding two babies over the past 7 1/2 months...this comes as a huge help! Molly on the other hand still prefers to be fed : ) Yeah, Addy!!
Coming soon...guess what else Addy is doing??!

*Free* Mouse Pad!

In all my time that I am spending at home, I have been doing some couponing. It can be quite addictive! I came across an offer for a free mouse pad today from Rite-Aid. I can't pass that up or sharing with everyone else. I hope Ken loves the free part of his Father's Day gift!!

Go here to check it out! Thanks, Mojo Savings!
