Separation Anxiety

Ken recently returned from a week long trip to California. It was a long week, but Connor and I survived! Since Ken's return, Connor has been nothing but glued to Ken's side. For three days, he cried every time he lost sight of his dad. Needless to say, we are glad he is home and Connor is planning on going on the next trip. Don't tell Connor that daddy has to take one more trip alone and then we all get to go. Unfortunately for the dogs, they will be staying in Ohio!

Please note: Although Connor is in his pj's for many pictures, he does wear "real clothes" during the day. He obviously is most photogenic after a fresh bath!

Man's Day

Ken took the day off on Friday to spend some man time with Connor. I would say it is paying off, Connor was quite attached to his dad over the weekend. If Connor hears a lawn mower, he does a quick check to make sure Ken isn't on it without him. I have a feeling he will be all about getting down and dirty!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Today was my mom's birthday, so we decided to surprise her! Sarah had had this idea many months ago. We made dinner and caravaned in their driveway honking! She and my dad with both quite surprised. It was helpful that the weather was nice so the kids could go wild outside. I think a good time was had by all...except for the tulips(they would be the red dots in the pictures)!!

Missing M&M's

Connor got some mini m&m's from the Easter Bunny. They came up missing this morning, any idea where they might have gone?

Hey batter, batter!

We made a trip up to Toledo last week for a Mud Hens Game! It took Connor about 45 minutes to take in the sights. After that, he was clapping and yelling along. He was really hoping that we would buy him a bat as a souvenir. It got to be awfully dangerous though as he was swinging it at our heads! The only thing that we were missing was the sunshine!!

60 and Sunny

The weather finally was nice this weekend, so we ventured out to experience a few firsts with Connor!

He and dad also had a great time riding Papa's 4-wheeler for the first time. They think we need one now...

I was just happy to have a family day!! I hope the nice weather continues!

I am obviously way behind the times, I hadn't really been introduced to blogging until just recently.

After some pressure from Katie and Sydney, I thought it might be a kind of fun way to record those important moments in life that we sometimes forget about all too quick!
