Catching Up

I had been meaning to post about the big Diego Party and other random things, but the days just kept getting away from me. I am on Spring Break this week and I have already crossed many things off my list : ) Now, while all three kids are sleeping (at once!) I'll do some quick catching up.

Connor had a great time at his party, although it is very stressful on mommy!! He is now very used to saying that he is three. I should keep a journal of the funny things he says. Here are a few pictures from the party. My favorite is the last one where he was singing Happy Birthday with us all! So funny...

At the girls 5 month check up, Addy weighed 12.8 and Molly weighed 14.4. It is amazing the difference in how it feels to pick them up! Addy now rolls both ways, from back to front and back again. She hasn't figured out how to get that arm out yet! Molly is so close.

Connor was so excited when he woke up today and found out that I was on Spring Break...again!! We have a wonderful week to be off. It is just getting nicer by the day. We have lots more to do! Yes, I am completing a post with no pictures of Molly. I just realized I haven't taken any of her since her 5 month picture, poor youngest child. You're guaranteed to see one soon.

The big 3!!

My three year old baby is tucked into bed after an action packed birthday! Daddy took the day off to have a boys day with Connor on his big day. They played so hard that we had to wake Connor up from his nap at 4, so we could head to dinner.

He got to open a few presents...the kid is totally into sports.

Then we headed to Chuck E Cheese for dinner for the first time ever. The girls were thrilled, we wanted proof they were there!!

It was a great day for all. I can't believe he is 3 already, it seems like just yesterday that I held him for the first time...

5 months!

Can you believe it? Picture taken and posted on their actual 5 month day! Not only that, I made dinner, did the dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, started a load of laundry and graded some papers! This is all after a full day of work! Do you know what this means? My life is getting easier. For now.

We have fallen into a great evening routine which includes a little evening snooze for the girls. The allows for a peaceful dinner, a little Connor time, and for a few things around the house to get done. I'm sure there will be another snag to work out in a few weeks as they grow and change, but will take this routine while we have it. Now if only they'd sleep the night. Or even a little more consistently at night. That could be a post in itself...A Night with the Twins!

Birthday Week!

At our house, we celebrate birthday week...generally kicking of the festivities the Friday prior to the big day.

Last night we kicked of Connor's Birthday Week with some pizza and brownies (his choice of dinner, of course!). I can't believe that he will be 3!! He is so looking forward to his birthday and of course ending next weekend with a Diego Party...more events to come ; )
